On November 18, Donetsk Boarding School No. 1 hosted the guests from Germany, namely Gunnar Lindemann, the member of the regional Berlin Parliament, and Richard Gretzingermember, the member of the Presidium of the regional Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg Council. Today, November 8, The Ministry of Education and Science of DPR held a Republican conference of heads of the educational organizations of secondary vocational education on a theme: “Training of qualified workers for the development of the national economy sectors of Donetsk People’s Republic”.
On November 5, a demonstration in support of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Lugansk People’s Republic took place in front of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech capital, Prague. It was organized by the Society of Friends of the LPR and the DPR together with the Prague-based Council of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia, the Young Communist League, the Left Perspective movement and the Czech World Movement with the participation of other patriotic organizations.
On November 4, the National Day of Unity, a solemn ceremony of founding a park named after the first-ever head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko was held in the Kalinin district of Donetsk. The first young trees of the future park were planted by the interim head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, members of the government, heads of the DPR cities and districts, activists of the public movement Donetsk Republic and the public organization Young Republic, as well as pupils of School 4 – Cadet Corps (Republic educational institution), reported a correspondent of the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
On November 3rd, the Donetsk Botanic Garden hosted the meeting of the acting head of DPR Denis Pushilin with the representatives of the scientific community of the Republic. The event was attended by the acting Minister of Education and Science Evgeniy Gorokhov, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Aleksandr Anoprienko; heads of research institutes and universities, and leading scientists of the Republic, according to the news reporter of the DPR official website.
From June 21 to June 24 the Minister of Education and Science Evgeny Gorokhov and the First Deputy Minister Mikhail Kushakov have visited with a working visit South Ossetia by the invitation of the President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov.
