The team “Heirs of Donbass Victory” that included students of the Donetsk lyceum-boarding school named after G.T. Beregovoy aimed at the intensive military and physical education together with young army men from the Donetsk Gymnasium № 70 won the All-Russian Youth Military and Historical Forum “Aleksandrovsky Styag” for the first time.

In the evening of December 17 in Gostiny Dvor, Moscow, the IV International Charity Cadet Ball took place, the participants of which were about one and a half thousand of people. Among them there were students of cadet, Suvorov and Nakhimov schools, students of cadet classes from 65 regions of Russian Federation, as well as from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, South Ossetia, and the Republic of Belarus.

The team of the Donetsk military boarding school with enhanced military-physical training named after G.T. Beregovoy took the 3rd place at the XII All-Russian Festival of Cadet Educational Institutions, classes and young army men “Vivat, Cadet!”, which was held from September 21 to 25 on the basis of the Perm cadet corps named after generalissimo A.V. Suvorov.

On Thursday, June 20, the Shakhtar Plaza complex saw a ceremonial presentation of Gold and Silver medals “For Special Achievements in Learning” to graduates of general educational organizations subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR and other ministries.

On November 18, Donetsk Boarding School No. 1 hosted the guests from Germany, namely Gunnar Lindemann, the member of the regional Berlin Parliament, and Richard Gretzingermember, the member of the Presidium of the regional Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg Council. On Thursday, February 15, Maslenitsa holiday was held at Dokuchaievsk special general education boarding school No. 27 which building was damaged with firing from AFU the day before.

On August 31, on the eve of the beginning of new academic year, in the Donetsk People's Republic the action devoted to memory of died children of Donbass "They won't hear school bell" took place. The Ministry of information of the DPR with the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR, SM "Donetsk Republic" and the Museum of military glory of Donbass acted as organizers.

On Monday, August 21, the opening of the II Republican professional pedagogical forum of secondary professional education workers "Professional competence of the leading and pedagogical workers in the conditions of secondary professional education modernization" took place in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Donetsk People's Republic.

On Wednesday, June 21, the ceremony of delivery of the gold medals "For Excellent Achievements in Learning" to graduates of the general education organizations of the Donetsk People's Republic was held in Kuibyshev Palace of culture. The Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko participated in this festive event.
