PhD student of the Donetsk National University’s Department of Botany and Ecology Eduard Mirnenko was awarded a I-degree diploma of the XXV International Bios-Forum and youth Bios-Olympiad 2020.
On Tuesday, May 26, a plenary meeting of the VI International Scientific Forum of the Donetsk People's Republic "Innovation Prospects of the Donbass: Infrastructure and Socio-Economic Development" took place in a remote format. The forum is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Donetsk People's Republic.
The meeting of the Presidium of the Russian Entomological Society (RES), was held on January, 31 in St. Petersburg at which the results of the Competition of scientific works of young scientists ‒ members of RES for 2019, were summed up. At the meeting the results of the competition were summed up. Our compatriot Tatyana Nikulina, candidate of biological sciences, scientific secretary of the Donetsk Botanical Garden, became the winner.
A meeting of the Regional Council of Botanical Gardens of the South of Russia «Management of Botanical Gardens as Protected Areas (SPNA). Recreational Activities of Botanical Gardens» took place in Sochi from 5 to 6 December.
On September, 23-27, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Scientific Support for the Sustainable Development of Fruit Growing and Ornamental Gardening”, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the All-Russian Research Institute of Floriculture and Subtropical Crops and the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Tree of Friendship botanical garden, was held in the All-Russian Research Institute of Floriculture and Subtropical Crops.
On May 21, Donetsk National Technical University hosted the annual V International Scientific Forum of the Donetsk People’s Republic “Innovative prospects of Donbass: Infrastructure and Socio-economic Development” held for the 5th time by the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR.

On Friday, April 27, the meeting of presidium of the Higher Certifying Commission, which was opened by the Minister of education and science Evgeny Gorokhov, took place.
On April 20 in the showroom of "Donbass Arena" scientists and production workers presented the projects aimed at providing safe extraction of black gold of the Republic within the Republican exhibition "Science and Industry Achievements— 2018".
On Tuesday, February 20, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the DPR Mikhail Kushakov, Chairman of the State committee on environmental policy and natural resources at the Head of the DPR Roman Kishkan, deputy of national Council of the DPR Andrey Vyatkin, Chairman of the Committee of National Council for agriculture and land resources Oleg Glebov, head of department of science and technologies of the Ministry of Education and Science of Roman Blizky, director of SE "Donetsk Botanical Garden" Svetlana Prikhodko took part in the round table on the subject "Scientific and Legal Aspects of Environmental Policy as Basis of Sustainable Development of the State" in SE "Donetsk Botanical Garden".
At the meeting of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science the first PhD of physical and mathematical sciences of the Donetsk People's Republic has been approved.
According to the contract on cooperation between Donetsk national technical university and Federal state independent educational institution of additional professional education "Institute of professional development of executives and experts of fuel and energy complex" (FSIEI APE of "IPK TEK") the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation from September 18 to September 23 in DonNTU took place the XVI International conference "Resources reproducing, low-waste and nature protection technologies of exploitation of interior part of the Earth" whose organizers are the mountain faculty of Donetsk polytechnic and FSIEI APE of "IPK TEK" of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
Research associates of SE "Institute of Economic Researches" took part at the V International conference "Public purchases: enforcement problems" which was carried out by the Department of Company Law of Faculty of Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
