A meeting with representatives of the Moscow Pedagogical State University: Director of the Centre for the Study of Historical Memory and Civil Identity of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Sergei Alekseevich Zasorin and Deputy Chairman, Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Moscow Pedagogical University Yuri Viktorovich Moskvin was held at the Gorlovka Institute for Foreign Languages. The meeting took place within the framework of the forum “Russia – Donbass: Unity of Priorities” and within the framework of an agreement on cooperation between universities.
Today, July 2, at the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after A.B. Solovyanenko, the Republican ceremony “Graduate of the Year – 2021” was held – the best graduates of educational institutions of higher professional education were given the diplomas of the Russian Federation and the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Students of the Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture are involved actively in the implementation of social and volunteer projects that serve to provide assistance and support to those in need. The arsenal of volunteers includes charity events, meetings and master classes for disabled children from the public organization the Dolphins, the implementation of the Childhood Without Borders project, which won the Republican competition of socially significant projects among DPR youth, and other events.
On March, 27 within the framework of cooperation with the Russkiy Mir Foundation and under the leadership of the Department of world literature and comparative literature studies the 6th international scientific and practical seminar with face-to-face and virtual participation “Problems of studying and teaching literature at school and university: Challenges of time” took place in the Gorlovka Institute for Foreign Languages.
On February 5, the Rector of Gorlovka Institute for Foreign Languages Svetlana Kochetova and the Rector of Kabardino-Balkarian State University Yuriy Altudov signed an agreement on the network interaction. This is the first time when a higher educational institution of our Republic has signed such an agreement.
On November 19 and 20 the Department of Economics and Marketing of Donetsk National Technical University held in absentia format the XVI International Scientific and Practical Conference «Economics and Marketing in the XXI Century: Problems, Experience, Perspectives». The Ministry of Coal and Energy of the DPR, State Institution «Institute for Economic Research», Donetsk National University, Donbass State Technical University (LPR, Alchevsk), Kemerovo State University (Russia), Rostov State Transport University (Russia) and others were among organizers along with DonNTU.
The V International Scientific Conference “Donetsk Readings 2020: Education, Science, Innovation, Culture and Modern Challenges” started in the distance format on November 17 on the basis of the Donetsk National University.
The Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech.
“Dear participants of the V International Scientific Conference “Donetsk Readings 2020: Education, Science, Innovation, Culture and Modern Challenges!” I congratulate you on the beginning of the conference! I hope that it will be successful and fruitful and bring actual results for the socio-economic and cultural development of the Republic. “Donetsk Readings” is one of the largest scientific forums in the Republic both in terms of coverage of scientific areas and problems, and in the number of participants. More than 1600 reports will be presented at the conference and there are over 250 doctors of sciences among the speakers.
On 29 September–4 October 2020, Southern Federal University in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, hosted the Second International Research and Educational Forum on University Teacher Training Mission in the 21st Century. The event was supported by the Russian Academy of Education, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the State Duma Committee for Education and Science, as well as the Council of the Federation Committee on Science, Education and Culture. More than 1300 people took part in the forum either in presentio or in absentia. Among the participants was Professor Svetlana Kochetova, Rector of Gorlovka Institute of Foreign Languages, and Olga Zharikova, Associate Professor at the Department of World Literature and Comparative Literature Studies.
On the 14th of September, the agreement was signed by Vladimir Nechaev and Alexander Anoprienko, the principals of Sevastopol State University and Donetsk National Technical University, in Sevastopol.
On Tuesday, May 19, Saint-Petersburg Mining University together with the international centre of competence in mining education under UNESCO auspices held a video conference on one of the most urgent issues discussed in the scientific community, that is “Hydrocarbons. Looking into the future”.
