On Tuesday, July 2, Donetsk M. Brovun State Academic Music Drama Theatre held a solemn event “Graduate of the Year – 2019” dedicated to honour the best graduates of educational institutions of higher education of the Republic.
On Saturday, June 29, a significant event – a solemn ceremony of awarding state diplomas of the Russian Federation took place in the Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. 27 graduates who completed training in Master’s educational programs in the field of study “Civil engineering” received them, as well as diplomas of their native University.
On June 29, M. Gorky Donetsk National Medical University held a solemn graduation ceremony for new specialists in General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dentology, Pharmacy, and Medical and Preventative Care. Three hundred thirty-eight graduates received diplomas of the Donetsk People’s Republic along with diplomas for higher professional medical education of the Russian Federation standard, among which there were 34 diplomas with honours.
On Friday, June 21, Denis Pushilin, the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic met with Vladimir Antonov, Deputy Prime Minister, Eleonora Fedorenko, Adviser to the Head of the DPR on the Rights of the Child, and Mikhail Kushakov, Minister of Education and Science. The main point of the event was children’s health issues in the summer.
The Federal Education and Science Supervision Agency (Rosobrnadzor) issued a State Accreditation Certificate to the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Donbass National Academy of Construction and Architecture”.

An event of extraordinary importance took place in the Donetsk People’s Republic. One more university of our young state, Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture was accredited by the Federal Oversight Service for education and science, in accordance with article 92 of the Federal Law “On education in the Russian Federation” and the Regulation on state accreditation of educational activities, approved by the government of the Russian Federation.
Master’s-level student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Donetsk National University Elena Vishnevskaya became the winner of the novice translator contest in St. Petersburg. Elena was recognized as the best in the category “Translation of the English-language Prose,” which traditionally is the most competitive.
Today, March 13, the DPR Minister of Education and Science Evgeny Gorokhov was awarded a commemorative medal.
On Wednesday, March 13, the conference entitled “Integration of M. Gorky Donetsk National Medical University into the educational environment of the Russian Federation” was held in Donetsk.
As part of the implementation of the state project of the Graduates’ Employment Roadmap at the Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mikhail Tugan-Baranovsky, February 26, Republican Career Day was held.
