Today, on December 28, in DonNUET the ceremonial meeting of the Academic council dated for opening of the Donetsk People's Republic's first educational, scientific and methodical complex by the Ministry of Education and Science "The state organization of higher education "Mikhail Tugan-Baranovsky Donetsk national university of economy and trade" took place.

Today, on December 27, this year’s last meeting of Council of rectors of the educational organizations of higher education took place in the Donetsk national technical university.

On December 22 a workshop of Head of department of trade Sergey Tretyakov with managers of the issuing departments of University took place under performance of an agreement about cooperation between State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Training "Mikhail Tugan-Baranovsky Donetsk national university of economy and trade" and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Donetsk People's Republic based on DonNUET.

On December 21 the 3rd academic building of the Donetsk national technical university became the platform for the New Year's student's ball. Student activists and trade-union committee of students of DONNTU organized the holiday. Under sounds of the well-known waltz by Georgy Sviridov festively dressed young men and girls were poussetting, having revived a long-term tradition of holding balls of Donetsk polytechnic students.
