In total, the diplomas with honours were awarded to 62 graduate masters. The honorary guests took part in the ceremony: Gennady Onishchenko, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Antonov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the DPR, Mikhail Kushakov, Minister of Education and Science of the DPR, and Sergey Goloshchapov, Head of Makeyevka city administration.
Gennady Onishchenko emphasized the importance of accreditation received by the university in the Russian Federation. “What could be more noble than building and creating? You have a huge responsibility for your native land, for the authority that the Academy has all over the former Soviet Union. I wish you to proudly bear the title of a graduate of the Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture!” – the State Duma Deputy addressed the graduates.
“The recognition of the Russian Federation suggests that the Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture provides an excellent education. I am sure that the graduates will find a worthy place in life and they will work for the benefit of the Donetsk People’s Republic” – said Vladimir Antonov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the DPR.
Minister of Education and Science of the DPR addressed the future specialists with parting words. “Dear graduates, teachers, parents and guests! We are having a great celebration today – the graduates of the Academy get a start in life. They say, life is established, where the builder passes. Graduates, I wish you always comply with this motto and to be worthy of your native University!” – wished Mikhail Kushakov.
Nikolai Zaichenko, Rector of the Academy thanked the entire staff of the university and wished the young generation of builders and architects to become high professionals.
