The medal was presented to Evgeny Gorokhov by the Deputy of the State Duma Kazbek Taysaev during the conference “Integration of M. Gorky Donetsk National Medical University in the educational space of the Russian Federation”, which was held in the DONNMU with the participation of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin.   

The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the DPR Mikhail Kushakov was also noted in Kazbek Taysaev’s letter of gratitude for his high professionalism, long-term contribution to the state educational policy of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the upbringing of talented youth. 

During the event, the guest of honor conveyed the greetings from 450 deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and personally from the Chairman of the CPRF Central Committee, leader of the Communist Party faction in the State Duma of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov.   

Letters of thanks from the State Duma were handed to Grigory Ignatenko, the DONNMU Rector and Lyubov Volkova, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Innovation Activities for the significant contribution to the development of education and science of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
