Graduates and their parents, leaders and teachers of educational organizations gathered in the hall.

Welcoming remarks were made by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Andrei Udovenko. “There are the best graduates of the republican general educational organizations in this hall. They are the pride of teachers and parents. They are the students who, throughout all their years of study, especially in the 10th and 11th grades, brought fame to themselves, their educational organization, and the Donetsk People’s Republic, they participated in republican and international competitions, became winners and prize-winners. I want to congratulate you on your graduation with excellent results! I am sure that everyone will get a higher education, honors diplomas and become excellent specialists. I also want to thank the parents and the teachers, because they invested a lot in your achievements!” − Andrei Udovenko emphasized.

The Deputy Minister of Education and Science presented graduates with just awards that are 62 Gold and 20 Silver medals “For Special Achievements in Learning”.

It is necessary to note that the heroes of the celebration on this day were the graduates of the Republican Multidisciplinary Lyceum-Boarding School at the Donetsk National University, the Republican Lyceum Boarding School “Erudit”, the educational establishment “Lyceum “College”, the Republican Architecture and Construction Lyceum Boarding School of the Donbass National Academy of Construction and Architecture, the republican general educational establishment “School No. 4 − Cadet Corps named after A.V. Zakharchenko”, Donetsk Specialized Music Boarding School for Gifted Children of the Ministry of Culture of the DPR and Donetsk Medical General Lyceum of the Donetsk National Medical University named after M. Gorky.

In total, 524 graduates of general educational organizations of the Republic will receive gold medals, and 223 graduates − silver medals.
