The ball was commemorated to the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland and the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Ten best cadets of RUE “School No. 4 - Cadet corps n.a. A.V. Zakharchenko” took part in this grand event, representing the Donetsk People’s Republic. They showed a high level of performance not only of the dance program, but also of the general culture.

Students of cadet corps waltzed to the orchestral accompaniment. Then there was the polka, the Mazurka, the pas de grace, the Polonaise - everything that danced at the balls 200 years ago.

Veterans, Heroes of the Soviet Union and Russia, famous athletes, artists, public figures, scientists, artists, as well as representatives of families of famous military leaders of the Great Patriotic War were the honorees of the event.

A large cultural program for the participants of the ball was organised. The cadets visited the historical and cultural sights of Moscow, as well as many museums and the Grand Kremlin Palace.
