Today, on February 14, the Minister of Education and Science of the DPR Larisa Polyakova visited Uglegorsk special boarding school №6 where the ceremonial opening after its restoration was held.

Educational process at the Uglegorsk special general education boarding school No. 6 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Donetsk People's Republic has resumed.

The book exhibitions "Under Valentin Katayev's Sail" , various events dated for the 120 anniversary since the birth of the Russian Soviet writer Valentin Katayev, the author of books "The Sail Lonely Grows White", "Son of a Regiment", "Magic seven-petal flower" and many others were held on January 28, 29 in Yenakiyevo schools  libraries.

Today, on January 21, on the basis of municipal educational institution "Donetsk School No. 3" the final stage of the Republican academic competition in Russian is being held. The deputy Minister of science and education of the Donetsk People's Republic Irina Simonova, the chairman of Committee on Education, science and culture of National Council Miroslav Rudenko and the vice-chairman Alla Obolenskaya, the rector of Donetsk republican institute of additional pedagogical education Alexey Chernyshev; head of the department of Russian of philological faculty to DonNU, Honored teacher of the DPR Vyacheslav Terkulov; manager of department of general linguistics and history of language Natalya Yaroshenko and other guests of honor participated in a ceremonial opening.

According to the Resolution of Council of ministers of the Donetsk People's Republic of December 17, 2016 No. 13-22 the Municipal educational institution "Donetsk Lyceum "Collage" has been brought  out of submission of Donetsk City administration and transferred to jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR.
