In her turn, the Minister of Education and Science Larisa Polyakova read out the order on rewarding the graduates of the general education organizations with medals and congratulated excellent students on receiving deserved rewards. with applause of the hall Larisa Polyakova and the deputy minister Irina Simonova handed medals to graduates. 300 graduates were awarded the gold medals "For Excellent Achievements in Learning". More than 170 silver medals delivery will take place on solemn teachers' meetings in the general education organizations.

This significant day all entrants of Donbass were given the most important gift by Alexander Zakharchenko. "The head has just signed the important document in order you be able to study in the Donetsk People's Republic on a budgetary basis. We will have enough budgetary places in order children can get quality education in higher education institutions of the DPR. Also, we invite graduates and everyone who live in territories of Donbass temporarily under control of Ukraine to get trained in the Republic", – Larisa Polyakova called.

 A concert which was prepared by nurseries and youthful art collectives and ensembles of the DPR followed the ceremony of gold medals delivery to the best graduates of 2017.
