On Thursday, January 12, the Minister of Education and Science of the DPR Larisa Polyakova had personal reception of citizens in the Kievsky district of Donetsk within work as a public reception of PM "Donetsk Republic".

According to the Order of the MES DPR No. 1 from 09.01.2017, studying of program material by 11 (12)-th forms students comes to the end 19.05.2017, 1-10th forms students finish their studies 27.05.2017.

According to the Order of MON DPR No. 1 of 09.01.2017, teaching and educational process in the general education organizations of the Donetsk People's Republic is resumed since 16.01.2017 in the usual regime.

On Wednesday, January 18, at 10:30 Psychology Training Workshop  starts  work for the purpose of implementation of innovative forms and methods of work in practice of specialists of psychological service, exchange and distribution of the best psychological practices, increase in professional level of specialists of psychological service and students.

Annually young technicians of the Donetsk People's Republic celebrate Week of science and technology which is held from January 9 to January 14 for the purpose of identification and support of talented and exceptional children, development and stimulation of their creative abilities, further development and promoting of technical creativity among children and youth of the Donetsk People's Republic.

"Educational Vector" program represents a joint project of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Donetsk People's Republic and First Republican TV channel.

I Republican scientific works contest  "Economy of Donbass: problems of the present and possibilities of the future" is taking place from October 1 to April 15, 2017 under patronage of the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR, the Ministry of Economic Development of the DPR in cooperation with the public organization "Stronghold of Donbass".

The Year of Reading announced by the Head of the Republic Alexander Zakharchenko comes to the end in the Donetsk People's Republic. This large-scale action aims to draw public attention to literature and reading, to acquaint with it younger generation, to inspire a renewed interest in the art word lost for the last decades.

Today, on December 28, in DonNUET the ceremonial meeting of the Academic council dated for opening of the Donetsk People's Republic's first educational, scientific and methodical complex by the Ministry of Education and Science "The state organization of higher education "Mikhail Tugan-Baranovsky Donetsk national university of economy and trade" took place.

From December 21 to December 26 with assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR the trip of gifted children of the Republic to St. Petersburg was organized. 30 young inhabitants of the Republic could get acquainted with the city on the Neva. They are  winners of the All-Russian and international competitions.
