Donetsk Higher All-Troops Command College (DonHATCC) and Shakhtersk teacher training college realize the youth project "Defenders of the Republic". Work takes place within accomplishment of the DPR youth patriotic education Program.

Project objectives are:

development of traditions of cooperation between military and civil educational institutions;

holding the actions directed to increase efficiency of educational and educational processes;

enhancement of military patriotic education of cadets and students.

Project tasks are:

establishment and development of creative contacts between cadets and students;

organization of series of lectures on esthetical development of youth;

organization of classes of students fitness;

joint holding scientific and practical conferences, seminars, round tables;

organization of high-quality leisure of youth of educational institutions;

creation of artistic associations of students and cadets;

carrying out contests-reviews of patriotic orientation, etc.

The Minister of Education and Science of the Donetsk People's Republic Larisa Polyakova, speaking about this project, emphasized: "The cooperation of cadets and students began about a year ago. We have big implementation plans of "Defenders of the Republic" Project and great expectations on our remarkable youth".
