Mikhail Nikolaevich thanked everybody for fruitful work in the expiring year, wished new success in the coming 2017: "Dear colleagues, all of you have done well, many considerable things were made. I want to wish all of you and your collectives health, good mood, progress in new year!"

Then Mikhail Kushakov handed certificates of associate professor Svetlane Yushkova  (Gorlovka automobile and road institute of Public Educational Institution of Higher Vocational Education DonNTU) and to Anatoly Baykov (Public Educational Institution of Higher Vocational Education DonNTU).

The chairman of Republican committee of Education and Science Employees Union Asya Gorshkova handed a sign "For Social Partnership" to the rector of Donetsk Academy of Management and Public Administration under the Head of Donetsk People's Republic Larisa Kostrovets and a Certificate of honor to the scientific secretary of Council of rectors Tatyana Malinenko.  the chairman of Committee of National Council on Education, Science and Culture Miroslav Rudenko warmly  congratulated rectors with coming New year.

The issue of use of scientific research of collective of DONNASA in economy of the Donetsk People's Republic was the first  in the agenda. The vice rector of DONNASA Vladimir Mushchanov informed members of council on the work done in this direction, having stopped on the specific practical importance of projects.

The rector of the Gorlovka institute of foreign languages Svetlana Kochetova shared the information about the course and results of the training at Herzen Russian state pedagogical university, thanked MES DPR management for the given opportunity of the training, which is of great importance in professional activity and strengthening of cooperation with the Russian colleagues.

Besides, members of Council of rectors considered a question of a ceremony of diplomas delivery to the best university graduates of the DPR. "I think that it is time to revive a good tradition which used to be in Donbass. Our best graduates are worthy to be handed their diplomas at a special ceremony, and also to be confident in the employment, and we shall help them with it", - Asya Gorshkova noted. The initiative was unanimously supported. It was decided to address to the Minister of Education and Science Larisa Polyakova a request to discuss this question with the Head of the Republic Alexander Zakharchenko.

 In conclusion of the meeting the rector of DonNTU Konstantin Marenich informed on the schedule of Council of rectors for 2017.
