The head of department of general linguistics and history of language named after E. S. Otin Natalya Yaroshenko acquainted attendees with the main scientific achievements of the outstanding linguist who for 37 years had been the head of department. Let's remind that since 1986 Evgeny Stepanovich Otin was the dean of philological faculty.

At a plenary session Candidate of Philology, associate professor FSBEI HPO "Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music" Irina Logvinova and students of philological faculty made reports.
