The Minister of Education and Science Larisa Polyakova, the Minister of youth, sport and tourism Mikhail Mishin, the deputy of National Council Sergey Zavdoveev and other guests of honor participated in the action.

Larisa Polyakova noted importance of Republican winter military and sports student's games in patriotic education of youth and thanked all participants for their civil stand.

Then the awards ceremony of winners was held. The team of Donetsk academy of internal affairs led the medal count, the Donbass legal academy came second and M. Gorky Donetsk national medical university came third.

Let's remind that the Republican winter military and sports student's games "Dawn-2017" have been organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR, with assistance of the Ministry of youth, sport and tourism, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DPR and National Council. For a week seven teams from the leading higher education institutions of the Donetsk People's Republic and one team from LPR competed in force and dexterity.
