First PhD of physical and mathematical sciences has been approved in the Donetsk People's Republic

At the meeting of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science the first PhD of physical and mathematical sciences of the Donetsk People's Republic has been approved.

This is the high research associate of SE "Donetsk physics and technology institute named after A.A. Galkin" Vladimir Shapovalov who had defended the dissertation "Physicics of the condensed condition". The subject of his academic paper is "The magnetic resonance properties of connections with noncentral ions of group of iron caused by elastic deformations".

It should be noted that the scientific consultant of Vladimir Shapovalov is the scientist from Warsaw, his opponents are from Krasnoyarsk, Moscow and Donetsk.

"Each defense of a thesis is an important event in education and science of the Donetsk People's Republic, particularly this defense, as physical and mathematical sciences are of great importance in implementation of applied researches", - the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Donetsk People's Republic Mikhail Kushakov stated.

In his turn, the chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science Grigory Ignatenko emphasized that protection of theses is gathering speed. "So far the HAC has received 125 certification cases and theses on competition of academic degrees of the doctor and candidate of science. 68 applicants have gained the diploma of the candidate of science and 18 applicants have become owners of doctor of sciences diploma", - Grigory Ignatenko stated.
