On March 4  the 1st Republican agricultural forum of young  Michurinists of the Donetsk People's Republic took place in the assembly hall of municipal educational institution "Boarding school No. 8 of Donetsk". The organizer of the meeting is the organization of additional education "Donetsk Republican ecology-naturalistic center".

Pupils of the part-time school "DONMAN", the section "Russian Literature" Victoria Ktitorova and Alina Sidorova became finalists of Ivan Shmelyov International children's writing contest "Year of the Lord".

On Sunday, January 29, the Yunpress Club of the Donetsk Republican Palace of children's and youthful creativity solemnly celebrated its 30-year anniversary.

On Tuesday, January 24, the patriotic action "Memorial book" took place in the municipal educational institution "Donetsk School No. 39 ". The deputy minister of science and education of the Donetsk People's Republic Irina Simonova, deputies of National Council of the DPR Sergey Rubin and Yury Sivokonenko, representatives of the Union of veterans of the DPR, teachers and pupils of the educational organization took part at this event.

On January 14 in Yunpress club of Donetsk Republican Palace of children's and youthful creativity the meeting with the British journalist Graham Phillips took place.  Yunpress members and participants of the media educational project "Youth School of Journalism" had an opportunity to communicate to the famous journalist and the great friend of Donbass.

On January 14 the meeting of young technicians of the Donetsk People's Republic took place in the Donetsk Republican Center of technical creativity.

The meeting finished a number of mass actions with children and studying youth which passed during winter vacation within the Week of science and technology.

Annually young technicians of the Donetsk People's Republic celebrate Week of science and technology which is held from January 9 to January 14 for the purpose of identification and support of talented and exceptional children, development and stimulation of their creative abilities, further development and promoting of technical creativity among children and youth of the Donetsk People's Republic.

From December 21 to December 26 with assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR the trip of gifted children of the Republic to St. Petersburg was organized. 30 young inhabitants of the Republic could get acquainted with the city on the Neva. They are  winners of the All-Russian and international competitions.

On December 18 by invitation of Yana Poplavskaya charity foundation  and with assistance of Gorlovka administration а group of children went to a New Year's Eve travel to Moscow.
