Winners and prize-winners of the correspondence stage of the tournament of "Young Michurinists" from the cities  and areas of the Republic, guests of honor, teachers, parents - only more than 80 people were invited to the action. The meeting was opened to the sound of music "March of Michurinists" which lyrics were written by the deputy principal of Donetsk school No. 56  Svetlana Simonova on Mikhail Khokhlov's music; the best participants of the tournament solemnly brought a flag of Michurinists. At the meeting there were guests of honor from Agro-industrial complex DPR, the State committee of forest and hunting economy, the Donetsk Botanical garden, the Gorlovka highest professional school, the director of DonRENC Denis Bezumov and the Head of Department of agricultural industry, Ph.D of Biology, the initiator of the meeting Svetlana Kirillenko which congratulated all attendees on opening of such an important for young generation of the Republic action.

On the Meeting the literary performance of young Michurinists of Donetsk school No. 97 devoted to the selector geneticist Ivan Michurin after whom the meeting was called took place. Creative reports presentations of the practical work in a garden and on a kitchen garden were made by the winners - young participants of the tournament: Mischa Martsekha (2 form pupil  Donetsk SC No. 97), Kirill Blinov (3rd form pupil Olkhovatka SC No. 40 of Yenakiyevo), Kolya Kurkchi (3rd form pupil of Shevchenkovo SC of the Telmanovo  distict), Yaroslav Akhmetzyanov (7th form pupil of SC No. 95 Makeevka) and Victoria Pryadko ( 6th form schoolgirl Olkhovatka SC No. 40).

During the meeting the Intellectual tournament between teams of "Fruit growers" and "Vegetable growers" which participants won honourable prizes such as calendars of the gardener and sets of apples was held. Participants of the folklore vocal "Miracle" group of Donetsk "Jubilee" Palace of culture pleased the audience with their performances.

All the winners and prize-winners of the tournament were awarded with diplomas of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Donetsk Republican ecology-naturalistic center, and the first place owners were awarded with MON DPR mementoes.
