During the press conference the deputy minister of science and education of the DPR Irina Simonova told about the procedure of organising end-of-year examinations for students 6-8th and 10th forms of the general education organizations.

"End-of-year examinations in the territory of the former Soviet states haven't been held for more than 20 years, and our children will take them for the first time. Participants of end-of-year examinations are students of the 6th, 7th, 8th and 10th forms of the general education organizations", - Irina Simonova emphasized and provided the list of subjects and the form of examinations.

All the end-of-year examinations are taken in an oral form. The following objects are the following: mathematics (the 6th form), history (the 7th form) - a course of history and culture of Ancient Russia with inclusion of the history of the Donetsk region, literature (the 8th form), geography (the 10th form)

 There will be an oral mathematics examination with papers (each paper contains one theoretical question and two practical tasks). In other objects there will be an oral examination with papers which contain two theoretical questions and one practical task.

 "Our purpose is not only quality check of knowledge of students, but also their socialization. Our children, unfortunately, are bad at getting across their thoughts. In the past they were not learned to tell but to present their knowledge in the test form. The programs of end-of-year examinations provided by the practicing teachers passed the corresponding examination, they are given the list of materials for preparation and also the list of necessary literature. It is possible to study all information on the official site of the Ministry of Education and Science and on the website of Republican service on control and supervision in education and sciences", - the deputy minister noted.

Approximate schedule of examinations: 29.05.2017 - mathematics (the 6th form), 30.05.2017 - history (the 7th form), 31.05.2017 – literature (the 8th form) and geography (the 10th form).
