"Republican tractor drivers multi-sport event took place on November 4 in the village of Svobodnoye, Telmanovo Rayon, the Donetsk People's Republic. Competitions were held within the Humanitarian program for reunification of the people of Donbass and was dated for Agricultural Worker's Day. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Donetsk People's Republic with the Ministry of agro-industrial policy and provisions and Telmanovo rayon administration were organizers of the competition. Six teams of participants of competitions represented Donetsk, Telmanovo, Starobeshevo, Amvrosievka rayons of the Donetsk People's Republic and Volnovakha rayon temporarily under control of Ukraine. Contestants passed three stages of competitions: theoretical, practical and professional. At the theoretical stage teams participated in a quiz concerning labor protection and safety measures. The professional stage included preparation of the tractor for work and overcoming an obstacle against the clock. The practical stage consisted of exercises with the trailer and a plow", - Larisa Polyakova said.

The minister thanked co-organizers of the competition, congratulated winners and handed them money certificates. The first place and the certificate for 150 thousand rubles were handed to the "Ellada" team (the territory of Donbass temporarily under control of Ukraine), the certificate for 100 thousand rubles for the second place was given to "SEP Fedorov" (Starobeshevo) and the certificate for 50 thousand rubles was handed to the representative of the "Oplot" team (Telmanovo) for the taken third place.

In their turn, representatives of teams emphasized importance of similar actions for strengthening of ties and exchange of experience among specialists of agro-industrial complex of all Donbass, involvement of youth to agriculture and also suggested to expand geography of participants of "tractor biathlon" and to hold such competition traditional in the Donetsk People's Republic.
