The Minister of Education and Science Larisa Polyakova met cadets of Donetsk academy of internal affairs

On Friday, March 31, the Minister of Education and Science of the Donetsk People's Republic Larisa Polyakova held a meeting with cadets and academic staff of Donetsk academy of internal affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR.

"A dialogue with students is always constructive. Our youth is concerned by various questions – from development of the state, education system, before to further employment. Similar meetings are always interesting and informative", – Larisa Polyakova said to journalists.

"Today we have on a visit our closest friend and the companion, the head in the field of education – the Minister of Education and Science Larisa Polyakova. We organized this meeting in order to tell about life of Donetsk academy of internal affairs,  to discuss questions, problems and tasks we face" with these words the rector of academy Anatoly Popov opened the event.

Larisa Polyakova told about progress of cadets during the patriotic games "Dawn-1", "Dawn-2", their discipline and good mannerliness, and also creative abilities shown in games of KVN. 

Among the main questions which were asked by cadets there were questions of the prospects of development of the higher education in the Donetsk People's Republic, demands of such directions of preparation as "Law", "Jurisprudence", recognition of diplomas.

"Diplomas of higher education, as well as all qualifications are admitted by the Russian Federation. So, with the bachelor's degree it is possible to get the master program in a Russian university, to receive second higher education", - Larisa Polyakova reminded.

Students were interested in interaction with student's youth of the FSU and beyond. "Professors and students have an opportunity to participate in various actions which take place in the Russian Federation and not only", - the Minister emphasized.

When asked about employment of young specialists, Larisa Polyakova has told about development of the program of employment and distribution of graduates within reforming the education system: "We plan to approve in 2017 this program for two directions – in health care sector and in education. Graduates are future specialists which will develop the state and they have to be employed".

"You have already a job. In 2020 there will be the first turnout of the Donetsk academy of internal affairs and the cadets are already employed", - the rector of academy Anatoly Popov added.

"Besides, we look forward to inhabitants of territories of Donbass temporarily under control of Ukraine willing to get an education in higher education institutions of the Donetsk People's Republic. We don't do any restrictions for them - they are our children. The entrants wishing to go to our universities can compete for state-funded education on an equal basis with inhabitants of the Republic", - Larisa Polyakova added.

Issues of improvement, secondary professional education, participation of students and cadets in republican actions were also brought up at the meeting.

"You are the future public face of the state. Having come to this institution, you claimed responsibility and have to aim yourselves at further work in your native Donbass. And you have to realise that from your behavior forms the opinion on the state", - the Minister of Education and Science addressed herself to the students at the end of the meeting.

"Most of you have taken oath of allegiance to the Donetsk People's Republic and the important decision to protect our Homeland, become defenders of the law and legitimate rights of our citizens. The way we will live depends on the way you will carry out consumption of legal knowledge. I wish you success in service and study", -the rector of academy said to the students.
