The exhibition that represents all DPR ministries was visited by Denis Pushilin, the Head of the Donetsk People's Republic, members of the Government and deputies of the DPR People's Council, as well as numerous representatives of foreign delegations who arrived in Donetsk to participate in festive events on the occasion of the Republic Day. There were guests from the Russian Federation, the Luhansk People's Republic, the Republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, the Czech and Slovak Republics, as well as other states.

Denis Pushilin and guests of the Republic got acquainted with the exhibition stands, which present the achievements of the DPR ministries and their subordinate enterprises and institutions. The head of the Republic noted that the exhibition of achievements demonstrates clearly the dynamic and rapid development of the state,  that even in such difficult conditions of war and blockade DPR’s citizens make significant breakthroughs.

During the presentation of achievements in the field of education, Yevgeny Gorokhov, the DPR Minister of education and science, presented textbooks on regional history for students of grades 5-11, created by teachers of the Republic. “We are proud of our teachers’ work. These unique books contain a wealth of material about our region from ancient times to the present. Such books simply did not exist before. I am sure that they are interesting for any resident of the Republic”, said Evgeny Gorokhov.

The Minister also stressed that the main task has been and still remains the training of highly qualified personnel for the developing economy of the Republic. E. V. Gorokhov noted the attention paid today to secondary vocational education, and combination of theoretical training with practical one. New cooperation agreements with other ministries and their subordinate enterprises are one of new approaches. The Minister also spoke about the prospects for the development of the industry, measures that will further improve the quality and capabilities of the education system.
