Mikhail Kushakov covered conditions of enrollment of entrants from the territory temporarily under control of Ukraine in the educational organizations of higher education of the Donetsk People's Republic.
"The humanitarian program for reunification of the people of Donbass, which purpose is full assistance to the civilians living in the areas which are temporarily under control of Ukraine, is implemented in the sphere of higher education in several directions. First of all, this provides an opportunity for free training in organizations of higher education of the Donetsk People's Republic. The list of such organizations is published on the website of the Humanitarian program for reunification of the people of Donbass. Today they are 18 HPE educational organizations, the largest ones of them are located in Donetsk. On their official sites there are e-mail addresses and phones to answer all questions concerning enrollment of entrants from the territory temporarily under control of Ukraine" , - Mikhail Kushakov emphasized.
He also stated that training is possible in internal, intramural and extramural, correspondence and external form. training is financed by the budget of the DPR and at physical and (or) legal persons. At the same time state educational organizations can enroll entrants from the territory temporarily under control of Ukraine both on budgetary and contract form, and private ones can only enroll with a contract. Available cost of contract trainingis is an undoubted plus.
Due to implementation of the Humanitarian program for reunification of the people of Donbass corresponding changes are made to the Order of enrollment and in Regulations of Enrollment in the educational organizations of higher education of the Donetsk People's Republic for 2017/2018 academic year.
"In particular, for persons living in the territory temporarily under control of Ukraine of the Donetsk People's Republic and having received a state-recognized document on the general secondary education in Ukraine, the results of the External Independent Estimation (EIE) received in 2016 and 2017 are equated to results of a SFE.
Higher education institutions of the Donetsk People's Republic are ready. Besides, entrants can use special rights at enrollment in EOHPE of the DPR: the right for first-priority enrollment, the right for participation in competitive selection without entrance tests, the right for enrollment out of the competition", - the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science noted.
The following categories of entrants from the territory temporarily under control of Ukraine of the Donetsk People's Republic can use their right for participation in competitive selection without enrollment tests:
- winners of the regional stage of the All-Ukrainian student's Academic Olympics 2016-2017 who are graduates of comprehensive schools in the districts of the Donetsk People's Republic which are temporarily under control of Ukraine;
- winners of the All-Ukrainian competition-defence of research works of pupils who are members of Small academy of Sciences on condition of compliance of the competition-defence profile held the year of enrollment to the direction of preparation (specialty). Compliance of the profile of competition-defence to the direction of preparation (specialty) is defined by the HPE organization.
