The head of department of higher education of MES of  the DPR Tatyana Denisova informed the members of the media on features of the university admissions process.

This year the admissions campaign  will be carried out in the educational organizations of higher education(EO HE) of the Donetsk People's Republic from June 26 to July 31. It is provided that entrants will be able to file documents to two EO HE in two directions of preparation (specialties).  Certificates of a State Final Examination of 2016 and 2017 are valid.

As Tatyana Denisova noted, each higher education institution determines profile competitive objects (to each direction of preparation (specialty) corresponds one subject). Entrants have an opportunity to choose the form of education: internal, intramural and extramural, correspondence and external studies.

The competition point can be formed from Overall GPA of the certificate or diploma; mark of the SFE Certificate   on the Russian language; mark of the Certificate of a SFE on a profile subject or point of additional entrance test (profile examination, creative contest, interview, testing); additional points.

Additional points are given to the following entrants:  EO HE profile subject long-term courses graduates (on condition of successful passing a SFE); awarded with a gold (silver) medal or having the honors degree; having sports ranks and entering the direction of preparation "Physical culture and sport"; graduated from medical (pharmaceutical) schools and entering medical (pharmaceutical) specialties. Entrants to the magistracy can be given additional points for scientific activities.

Some entrants can use certain privileges while entering EO HE: the right to be admitted out of the competition; the right to first-priority admission in case of identical competitive point (this year the category of entrants - owners of badges GTO(RLD) complex is added); the participation right without entrance tests.

Innovations of the forthcoming admissions campaign in educational institutions of secondary professional education were headlined by the head of department of SPE MON of the DPR Svetlana Danilchenko.

"According to the Law of the DPR "About education", secondary professional education is public therefore admission in the SPE educational institutions is performed without examinations and even without Certificates of a SFE, - Svetlana Danilchenko emphasized. - Entrants come with those documents which they have on hands. Besides, there is a list of preferential categories (it remains invariable since 2016), such entrants are enlisted out of the competition".

Also it was noted that in a number of the SPE educational institutions for admission on the specialties providing creative testing additional testing is carried out. 

Entrants with the secondary general education (11 classes) can be admitted not only into the first year, but also on vacant positions of the second year. It is possible to submit applications no more than to two educational institutions and no more than for three specialties / professions in each of them.
