The report on the work completed in 2016 was made by the Minister of Education and Science Larisa Polyakova. The minister told about main objectives and problems of education and science which were solved within a year: ensuring high-quality education according to the promising directions of development of society and economy, education of a citizen and patriot in constant interaction with families of students supported by traditions of the Donetsk region, increase in share of participation of school students in academic competitions and contests of different level, increase in efficiency of implementation of youth policy, strengthening of cooperation of the Donetsk People's Republic with its partner countries in education and sciences, etc.

Larisa Polyakova analysed results of process of licensing and accreditation of educational and scientific activities, told about development of systems of preschool education, general secondary education, vocational education, additional education. Besides, the Minister reminded of actions which had taken place in the Republic within implementation of the concept of patriotic education, summed up the course of the health promotion campaign.

The Minister of Education and Science mentioned changes which took place in 2016 in systems of secondary professional and higher education and covered results of international cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Donetsk People's Republic.

The report "About accomplishment of target figures of admission of citizens into postgraduate studies (postgraduate military course), doctoral studies in 2016 and about planning of amount of target figures of admission of citizens in postgraduate studies (postgraduate military course), doctoral studies in 2017" was made by the head of department of certification of pedagogical, scientific and pedagogical and scientific personnel of MES DPR Igor Masyuchenko.  Admission indicators in postgraduate studies of the educational organizations in the Donetsk People's Republic and also indicators of organizations of higher education, research establishments performing preparation of a scientific and pedagogical, scientific personnel into doctoral studies were considered in the report. Besides the speaker read out the admission plan for training in postgraduate studies, doctoral studies for 2017 funded through the budget.

The rector of Donetsk republican institute of additional pedagogical education Alexey Chernyshev made the report on approbation of the Standard educational program of preschool education "From the birth to school" and monitoring of educational and methodical maintenance

As the speaker noted, the program is developed by MES DPR and RIAPE employees, the best practicians and underwent approbation in three cities of the Donetsk People's Republic: Makeevka, Shakhtyorsk and Khartsyzk with participation of 150 pedagogical workers.

Alexey Chernyshev emphasized that the program is innovative, constructed taking into account the latest developments and achievements of domestic and foreign preschool education. The main priority is personal development of the child, and a special part is assigned to game activities. Material is now presentated by thematic blocks. According to the speaker, as a result of approbation most of pedagogical employees highly appreciated the new program, noted its orientation on providing comfortable conditions for development of the identity of the child, a possibility of introduction in contents of the program of correctional and inclusive pedagogics. Besides, during approbation there were some propositions. Such as to develop complete educational and methodical providing the program, tools for the organization of logopedic maintenance, to enhance models of cooperation with a family, etc.

Taking into account these propositions the electronic anthology of the developing education, diagnostic materials for assessment of individual development of children of preschool age and other developments are already prepared.

This issue caused live discussion. As the manager of sector of preschool education of MES DPR Lyudmila Arutyunyan noted, the essence of the program is to return childhood to the child, to develop attention, assiduity, ability to communicate, prepare the hand for writing. Transition to training at elementary school will be comfortable for the child then.

In conclusion of the meeting Larisa Polyakova congratulated members of board of MES on the Epiphany holiday, wished good health and new professional success.

"We are developing, we have good results, lofty agenda, including integration into educational and scientific space of the Russian Federation and other states. And, of course, we pay special attention to reforming of the education science system both in the content of education and in organization of educational process", - the Minister noted in communication with members of the media .
