The DPR delegation includes Anastasia Sergeeva, a postgraduate student of the Donetsk National University chair for analytical chemistry, as well as Alina Maydanik and Anna Voitash, associate scientists of the L.M. Litvinenko Institute of Physical-Organic Chemistry and Coal Chemistry.
The internship will be taking place from March 10 till April 9. It is organized by the International Innovative Nanotechnology Center of the CIS countries (InINCIS) with the support of the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR).
The main task of the educative event is to engage the youth in the process of international science and technology cooperation under the aegis of InINCIS. According to the internship agenda, the participants will get familiar with the JINR achievements in the sphere of fundamental studies, master interdisciplinary approaches concerning scientific research in the field of nano-, bio-, and information technology, get acquainted with the existing institutes of innovative development, design scientific and innovative projects in cooperation with others, and so on.
The interns are said to attend seminars on scientific problematics, innovations, and fundraising issues for scientific projects. The research and educational program includes review reports on modern problems of physics with an emphasis on modern nanotechnology, lectures on the basic methods of researching nanosystems and materials, practical classes on preparation and implementation of their own scientific and innovative projects, and other events.
The internship results will be summarized at the concluding conference where temporary creative research teams will defend their research and technology, innovative projects. According to the organizers, the participants will be able to reckon on obtaining grants for implementing joint research projects on behalf of InINCIS in the future.
