120 language and literature teachers from the different cities and districts of the Republic have already started their studies, training of one more group of 120 people will begin in two weeks. Additional specialty is in person and in absentia and takes 10 months.  There are three sessions and an intersession stage when lectures, special courses are given and consultations are held.

Teachers master the program which is developed on the basis of the State educational standard of additional professional education in the direction of retraining "Philology" (the Russian language and literature).

The purpose of this form of additional education is to provide necessary theoretical and methodical preparation in the field of teaching the Russian language and literature in the general education organizations of the Donetsk People's Republic, to train language and literature teachers for successful teaching.

Let's remind that in 2015-2016 academic year Donetsk republican institute of additional pedagogical education trained 300 Russian teachers.
