Larisa Polyakova: We are trying to reduce as much as possible a gap between the power and the public

Work of the International scientific and practical conference "Ways of Increase in Efficiency of Administrative Activity of Public Authorities in the context of Social and Economic Development of Territories" which was opened on Tuesday, June 6, continued on seven sites in the thematic dimensions.

The Minister of Education and Science of the Donetsk People's Republic Larisa Polyakova acted as moderator of the section "Education management: realities and prospects". Representatives of bodies of legislative and executive power of the Republic, educational organizations of higher education and also scientists from the DPR, LPR and the Russian Federation took part at its work.

Larisa Polyakova emphasized importance of joint work in the education and science system, told about the activity directed on improvement of regulations of the Law of the Donetsk People's Republic "On Education" and also about importance of adoption of law "On science and the state scientific and technical policy". "We try to stay ahead and as much as possible to reduce a gap between legislative, executive powers and the public", – the minister emphasized.

 The agreement on continuation of collaboration and implementation of the general projects with representatives of educational and scientific spheres of the Luhansk People's Republic was also reached during work of the section.

Besides, participants of the section discussed education continuity questions that has to be realized by means of creation of the state system of continuous vocational training of staff as bases of social and economic development of the Donetsk People's Republic.
