Conference took place on four sites on the following sections: "Urgent developments of DonNTU on improvement of the Donetsk region ecological situation" (DonNTU), "State, problems, prospects of Donbass economic development in the context of environmental problems; influence of the biosphere of territories on neutralization of anthropogenous influence – economic mechanisms and instruments of regulation of this influence" (M. Tugan-Baranovsky DonNUET), "Ecological situation in Donetsk region and indicators of health of the population: risks, forecast, prevention" (M. Gorky DonNMU ), "State, problems,  economic development prospects of Donbass in the context of environmental problems" (M. Tugan-Baranovsky DonNUET ).

Scientists, scientific and pedagogical workers of the Russian Federation and the Donetsk People's Republic, graduate students, students of the organizations of higher education participated in the conference.

Work of the scientific action came to the end with summing up and handing of certificates of conferees.

"Today constructive work was carried out in each section,  hot discussions of important issues took place. The second day of the conference is marked by participation of a large number of students, young scientists, graduate students, doctoral candidates. Scientists of the Donetsk People's Republic imparted their experience concerning ecological health not only Donbass, but also Russia. Materials of the conference will be published in a single collection", - the Minister of Education and Science Larisa Polyakova summed up.

The adviser of Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences Mikhail Zalikhanov shared his impressions of participation in the conference: "The conference took place at the due scientific level. Professionals of a high rank, experts in the field of economy, ecology took part. We have done all tasks of the conference. Today the Donetsk People's Republic is thinking about tomorrow: how to restore destroyed economy, lands, respecting at the same time environmental standards. Ecology and war are incompatible concepts, but people under ongoing ruptures of shells think how to put in order economy, industry, agriculture … I have seen many cities, but Donetsk, in my opinion, is the warmest city in the world".

"That situation, in which the Donetsk People's Republic is, allows to make the non-standard innovative solutions concerning the strategy of ecological development", - noted the director of institute of ecology and management of economy of environmental management of MNEPU academy Victor Potapov communicating with members of the media.
