The first issue to be  considered was the requests of Public Educational Institution (PEI) of Higher Vocational Education (HVE) Donetsk National University for opening research work on departmental subject (order) of the Ministry of Education and Science. The rector of DonNU Svetlana Bespalova noted that work on 8 fundamental and 5 applied subjects is planned the next year. She dwelt on their essence, expected results from development of applied subjects. The Minister of Education and Science emphasized that development of fundamental subjects in research activities of classical university shall be a priority.

As well as the question of SI (State Institution) "Institute of Physics of Mountain Processes" request for opening research work on the departmental subject of the Ministry of Education and Science was heard at the meeting. The leading researcher of the institute Pyotr Polyakov dwelt on relevance of  mechanics of destruction of layered and porous mediums project and answered questions of the members of council.

In addition to the agenda the requests for research work opening of SI "Research and design institute on automation of mining machines "Avtomatgormash named after V.A. Antipov." were reviewed. According to the management, nowadays at the institute 11 works are being performed, 7 of which come to the end this year and 4 ones are passing to the next year. One of the long-term directions of scientific activities is connected with creation of the automated combine which would work on dredging of coal without presence of the person at the coalface. It was noted that for implementation of some projects cooperation with Institute of problems of artificial intelligence is possible.
