The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Donetsk People's Republic Mikhail Kushakov, the vice-chairman of Committee on transport and communication of National Council of the DPR Sergey Sverchkov, the Russian public and political figure, writer and publicist Nikolay Starikov, students of Academy are soldiers of Armed forces of the DPR participated in the action.

"Carrying out Lessons on courage is a good tradition for Donetsk academy of transport. Today's action is taking place on the eve of a significant date – Defender of the Fatherland Day. Besides, recently we have celebrated one more important date – the 29th anniversary of a withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. Also 2018 is the year of the 75th anniversary of liberation of Donbass from fascist aggressors. We have to know the history of the Fatherland filled with heroic fight of our people for the right to live on the home ground. The feat of grandfathers and great-grandfathers is continued by present soldiers. We are grateful to all defenders of the Fatherland for their courage, we grieve on those who have given their lives in fight for the right to build independently the future, speak the native language. We have in our veins blood of winners, nobody ever will bring Donbass to heel!" - Mikhail Kushakov stated.

During the action patriotic poems and songs sounded, students learned the holiday's history, about real heroes. The rector of Donetsk academy of transport Irina Englezi awarded guests of honor certificates of acknowledgement.
