Representatives of more than 40 Russian higher education institutions and guests from China arrived in Saratov where key issues of medical education and the prospects of mutual cooperation were discussed.

Among the invited participants of the major scientific forum in the field of medical education there was a representative of the Donetsk People's Republic Grigory Ignatenko, the doctor of medical sciences, professor, the acting rector of M. Gorky Donetsk national medical university.

The most important directions of prospects of training of students in the field of medicine were discussed at the meeting, exchange of opinions on programs and approaches will allow to train physicians of the future took place, students have to be masters of the most modern technologies.

Within the meeting there were also discussion of professor Grigory Ignetenko as candidate of the new member of Association of Council of rectors of medical and pharmaceutical schools of the Russian Federation. After being introduced, by the general vote the rector of the Donetsk medical university has unanimously been accepted in members of Association of Council of rectors of medical and pharmaceutical schools of the Russian Federation.

This event will undoubtedly allow to strengthen interconnection between the medical universities of the Russian Federation and Donetsk medical university, will promote exchange of students, professional development of teachers of the medical university and further improvement of quality of training of medical students in our Republic in general.

"Recognition of our university in the Russian Federation is advanced success we can be proud of, a challenge we are obliged to answer, and trust which we have to justify", –the acting rector of M. Gorky Donetsk national medical university Grigory Ignatenko stated following the results of the meeting.
