The deputy minister of science and education of the Donetsk People's Republic Irina Simonova, the rector of DONNTU Konstantin Marenich, deans of faculties, the branch director USTU in the city of Usinsk Natalya Pichko and her colleagues participated in the action.
Irina Simonova expressed gratitude to the Russian university for that knowledge which they had given in addition to DonNTU graduates, and to the graduates for understanding importance of continuous education. "The gained diploma helps to be integrated, on the one hand, into the Russian market and on the other hand to be ready to the international challenges. Although second higher education is got in the Russian Federation, all experts remain in the Donetsk People's Republic to develop its economy. All these people are already working, they have managed not only to find themselves, but also to understand how important is development, continuous training in education system and in the sphere of the industry of the Donetsk People's Republic ", – the deputy minister emphasized.
Konstantin Marenich pointed to significance of the event. According to him, the USTU and its branch staffs in the city of Usinsk, with which cooperation has been for many years, in this tough time have shown support, helped with providing with textbooks and also taken the initiative of the organization of professional retraining of graduates.
Retraining was carried out for nine months with use of online technologies in two directions: fuel and energy complex economical legal support, development and operation of oil and gas fields. Each of the directions included 16 training courses. The diplomas gained by graduates give the chance to work at the enterprises of fuel and energy complex both the Donetsk People's Republic and the Russian Federation.
In her turn, Natalya Pichko noticed DonNTU graduate’s high standard of knowledge. "This project, which is pilot, has approved itself. Our further cooperation will continue also on some other the directions", – the branch director assured.
