First deputy minister of education and science of the DPR Mikhail Kushakov, Head of the Education, Science and Culture committee of the National Council Miroslav Rudenko, attended the meeting.
Konstantin Marenich, the DonNTU rector, informed the guests about the issue of preparation for the III DPR International scientific forum “Innovative prospects of Donbass: infrastructural and socio-economic development”
The Forum, organised by the Ministry of Education and Science, will be held on May 24-25th. As Konstantin Marenich mentioned, at this moment, the leading research institutes and universities have confirmed their participation. Also, representatives from the Russian Federation and the Lugansk People’s Republic are expected to come.
Within the forum, 15 international and republican events based on educational and scientific organisations are planned, including science-practical conferences. By the way, an exhibition of the Donbass science-technical discoveries will take place. It was noted, that in the nearest time the organizing committee meeting to prepare the forum would be held.
In addition, during the Rector Council session, other actual questions were discussed. Igor Masiuchenko, the head of the pedagogical and scientific personnel attestation of the Ministry of Education, informed about the order of pedagogical workers attestation (this order can be found on the official web-site of the Ministry of Education). Tatiana Denisova, the chairman of higher professional department, informed about changes and additions made into the normative documents of the Ministry of Education and Science.
The opening of the SEI “Academy of Civil protection” of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was issued, the presentation of the educational institution was made by the rector Pavel Stefanenko.
Asia Gorshkova, the head of the Education and Science Employees Union, spoke about cooperation with the Moscow City Education and Science Employees Union of the Russian Federation and the Education Trade union of North-Rhein Westphalia (Germany)
First deputy minister of education and science Mikhail Kushakov congratulated guests with upcoming holidays – 1st of May, VE Day, Day of Republic. Also, Mikhail Nikolaevich emphasised the importance of clear and coherent teamwork during the inaugural campaign, successful realization of the Humanitarian programme for the Donbass people reunification in the spheres of education and science.
