Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the DPR, Ministry of transport, heads, teachers and students of institutions of the higher and secondary professional education participate in the conference. Representatives come not only from educational organizations of the Donetsk People's Republic, but also from the Russian Federation, the Luhansk People's Republic and Ukraine.
The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the DPR Mikhail Kushakov addressed himself to the audience with welcome speech:
- Allow me to congratulate you on the beginning of a conference when we, teachers, will be able to introduce our ideas, hopes in order to teach our children in new conditions when the present situation demands us new approaches to deal with major tasks. We have to create all conditions for training worthy experts in our country. Exchange of opinions will let us commensurate what we are creating and what will be created further. I would like to wish you fierce professional disputes, interesting communication, optimism in our hard, but honourable profession of the teacher. Deep gratitude to you for your dedicated work, for your remaining faithful to your profession, your debt in so hard times. I wish all of us good luck!
The plenary session was opened by the report of the rector of RIPE EPS Dmitry Alfimov on the subject "Modernization of Professional Education as Potential Resource of Development of Society".
The plenary session and work of sections covers a wide range of the questions devoted to urgent problems of development of professional education in the Republic such as the main directions of professional education system reforming; features of standard and legal and program and methodical ensuring activity of the educational organizations formation; topical issues of professional education management; professional competence development of professional education employees; psychological and pedagogical problems of student identity development in modern conditions; psychological safety of the educational environment; ensuring professional education quality in the conditions of introduction of new State educational standards and others.
