The deputy Minister of Science and Education Irina Simonova noted in her inaugural address that this competition has been held in the Republic for the third time so far, it has huge popularity among teachers of the Republic. The winners of "45 minutes of fame" of last years could properly represent our Republic and win professional pedagogical competitions the Russian Federation. "New pedagogical openings and new bright winners are expected from the competition", - Irina Simonova has noted.
The competition of teachers becomes more and more mass, in 2017 236 teachers have participated in it, in the final stage of the republican level there are 21 finalists. These are teachers of Russian, initial classes, mathematicians, information scientists, physics, chemistry, foreign languages, music, i.e. representatives of both humanitarian and natural-science cycles of objects.
The final stage will have two rounds – the first one is on February 13-14, the second one is on February 16-17. During the first round the teachers represent their pedagogical experience. Competitions consist of "business card" demonstration where each teacher will introduce themselves as personality, and hold master classes. According to the results of these competitive tours the jury will shortlist 8 finalists who will give open lessons on February 16 and 17. The absolute winner will be defined among 8 finalists, 2 participants will gain diplomas of the 2nd degree, there will also be 3 diplomas of the 3rd degree and 2 diplomas of winners. This way last years’ contestants assessment practice directed to identify as many as possible best teachers is implemented. It is due to an increased level of pedagogical skill which had been already marked out by jury in the previous competitions.
The preliminary stage consisting in representation of Internet resources of each teacher showed increase of teachers’ professional skill level. This year content, execution and interactivity of these resources were very high, the jury decided to leave the competition participants' websites as samples for methodical work of teachers of the Donetsk People's Republic.
This year the jury of the professional competition was international for the first time, the rector of Bryansk institute of professional development of educators Ivan Pikhenko was its part. Addressing himself to the teachers of Donbass, Ivan Nikolaevich made a point of importance of pedagogical competitions for teachers professional skill development, their positive role in development of education, and also noted great attention paid by the Russian teachers to our Republic teachers' activity.
Besides, the greeting to contestants and organizers of the competition was sent by colleagues from the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The video message to teachers of the DPR on behalf of teachers of Transnistria was made by the rector of Tiraspol State educational institution of additional professional education "Institute of development of education and professional development" Valery Zemlyakov.
