The Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Vladimir Antonov, introduced Mikhail Kushakov in his new position and noted the great contribution of Yevgeniy Gorokhov to the development of the industry, who had been the head of the Ministry of Education and Science since February 2018. “Yevgeny Vasilyevich has done a lot for education and science of the Donetsk People’s Republic. We highly appreciate his work. All honour to him and God bless him!” said Vladimir Antonov.

Also, the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the DPR expressed confidence that Mikhail Kushakov would continue doing everything possible to further develop science and education of the Republic.

In turn, Mikhail Kushakov expressed gratitude for high confidence. “We are facing many tasks, and we know what to do in order to provide the quality education and develop science. Together we are going to do our best to justify the confidence of the Republic leadership”, he stressed.

It should be noted that on March 25, 2015 Mikhail Kushakov was appointed the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Donetsk People’s Republic, and on July, 2015 − the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the DPR.

Mikhail Kushakov is a Candidate of Law, author of more than 40 scientific works and manuals in legal and political studies. He was awarded the medal “For Labor Valor”, Diploma of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as the Republic Identification Badge.”
