Participants of the contest “Opora Respubliki”(“Pillar of the Republic”) may get an online platform

On Tuesday, April 16, the working meeting devoted to the discussion of the stages and mechanism of competition implementation took place in Donetsk.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Youth, Sport and Tourism of the DPR Alexandr Gromakov, Minister of Culture of the DPR Mikhail Zheltyakov, the first Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the DPR Mikhail Kushakov, the public figure and member of the Public Movement “Donetskaya Respublika” (“Donetsk Republic”) Ekaterina Martyanova, the head of the Public Organization “Molodaya Respublika” (“Young Republic”), member of the DPR People’s Council Kirill Makarov, rectors of higher educational institutions, members of the DPR People’s Council and representatives of the public.

At present, the solution of the issue of personnel education and training for all spheres of our young state’s life is possible through the formation of the national personnel reserve.

Alexander Gromakov emphasized that the people of the Republic are energetic and self-sacrificing, and their thinking, fresh look, non-standard approach will help the development of our state.

“Nowadays, people need to be given opportunities to implement their potential and ambitions. Their unbiased thinking, fresh look, non-standard approach will help the development of the Republic. Open competition “Opora Respubliki” will allow bright personalities of our young state to express themselves. Their talents and high working capacity will certainly find their application,” the Minister said.

According to the DPR Minister of Culture, the Republic needs skilled managers who will act for the benefit of the people.

“The competition “Opora Respubliki” is a great chance for our citizens to show what they are capable of. It’s time to move from words to action, that’s why we need managers who will skillfully lead the people. In order to be confident in their competence, professional selection is necessary,” Mikhail Zheltyakov said.

Mikhail Kushakov noted the role of the contest “Opora Respubliki” in identifying the most promising specialists and use of their abilities. “Educational institutions of the Republic train highly qualified professional personnel that meet the modern requirements of the labor market and the tasks set by the state. Of course, among them there are the strongest, and the competition “Opora Respubliki” will help to identify the most promising specialists who will be able to solve important problems of social and economic development of our state”, said the first Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the DPR.

In her report on the specialists’ training, Larisa Kostrovets, rector of the Donetsk Academy of Management and Public Service under the authority of the Head of the DPR put forward a proposal to develop an online platform for the participants of the contest “Opora Respubliki”.

“Online testing of participants will be a practical solution and will simplify the process of candidate selection in the framework of the competition “Opora Respubliki”. The test will increase efficiency, save time, and make participation in the competition easier and more accessible, as well as provide consolidated access to the entire database of applications,” Larisa Kostrovets believes.

The discussion of the issues voiced at the working meeting with the representatives of the ministries confirms that the contest “Opora Respubliki” will contribute to increasing the activity of our citizens in the creative and sports spheres, and help to involve the new specialists in the field of science.
