The meeting took place near the Bogdan Khmelnytsky Monument located in the square "Yubileyny" of Proletarsky district of Donetsk.

Larisa Polyakova, the Minister of Education and Science of the DPR, made a speech at a solemn meeting with the guest of honor of the Republic - the deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the coordinator of integration committee "Russia-Donbass" Andrey Kozenko.

Larisa Petrovna congratulated all audience on the significant event and emphasized that inhabitants of the Republic are proud of return of celebration of the important date devoted to Pereiaslav Treaty to our state. She also noted that last year this date was celebrated in Simferopol, and today our friends from Russia and Luhansk arrived to the Donetsk earth.

Andrey Kozenko on behalf of all Crimeans also congratulated residents of Donbass on Pereiaslav Treaty anniversary and emphasized importance of further association of all Russian people to resist to those who struggle against it, and has thanked residents of Donbass "for a hard line, for the choice and fight for their rights".

During the meeting the congratulatory address from the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov, in whom he mentioned that referenda in the Crimea, the DPR and LPR have been carrying Pereiaslav Treaty's tradition in unification of our people and revival of historical justice, was read.

In conclusion of the meeting participants of the sign action laid flowers at the Bogdan Khmelnytsky monument.
