The head of the Ministry of Education and Science emphasized in her address to representatives of education need of close interaction. "Today's meeting is devoted to the most topical and vital issues and problems of our work. We regularly interact, however we need to communicate much more often in the format of similar meetings. The education and science system of our state doesn't stand still, we constantly develop, but without direct contact between the Ministry of Education and Science and professors, teachers, tutors this development is impossible", - the Minister said.

While communicating with representatives of the sphere of preschool education, Larisa Polyakova urged heads to involve more actively in work young specialists, including senior students of higher and secondary professional education institutions who need practice very much.

The subject of introduction of the educational program "From birth to school", at which discussion the Minister mentioned importance of age periods and stages borders, was touched on. "We consider the most optimum age to start training at school is 6 and a half - 7 years. You shouldn't hurry as there are objective stages of development of the child", - Larisa Polyakova said.

During the meeting the issue of shortage of physics and informatics teachers at schools was broached. "This problem will be solved by additional qualification of mathematics teachers", - the Minister of Education and Science answered.

Besides, the problem of providing young personnel with housing was broached. In his turn the acting head of Yenakieevo administration Dmitry Lysenko confirmed readiness to provide housing to young specialists.

The issue of vocational guidance of school students was touched on. The minister stated that university complexes incorporating educational institutions of all levels are being created for this purpose. "The child has to join future profession as soon as possible therefore we change outdated professional orientation approaches. Last two decades there was a vicious practice of the choice of specialty depending not on desire or abilities, but on availability: entrants preferred higher education institutions or technical schools with a large number of the budgetary places. This is that we change today as everyone has to make a conscious choice for that profession for which they have a penchant. But the child has to be ready to this choice, and our task is to prepare them. Today choice of profession must be conscious", - Larisa Polyakova emphasized.
