Besides, more than 5 teachers of the general secondary education living in the territory of Donbass, temporarily under control Ukraine, became participants of the August conference of pedagogical workers.

With welcome speech the Minister of Education and Science Larisa Polyakova congratulated teachers on the coming new academic year and determined priorities of the Republic children training. "The continuity of training and education is the principle of the branch reforming, that is the work of our near future. Many of those who are in the hall took part in creation of the Concept of education and science system reforming, representatives of the Republic pedagogical collectives. We want very much our children, entering adulthood, to have a sufficient volume of knowledge and abilities to choose consciously a profession. Besides, I want very much our children to be raised in the spirit of patriotism, on the basis of universal values", – Larisa Polyakova stated.

In her turn, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Irina Simonova made the report of "Change in the education system of the Donetsk People's Republic during formation of statehood". "The education system of the Donetsk People's Republic during formation of statehood has undergone changes, connected not only with historical realities, but also internal changes of the state. 2017 is the last academic year defined within a transition period. From 2018-2019 academic years we are expecting new standards, programs, directions which we will form in common on the basis of the material we acquired in three years and which we already perfectly know", – Irina Simonova emphasized.

Also, she stated that the education system of the DPR gives the chance not only citizens of the Republic, but also inhabitants of territory of Donbass temporarily under control of Ukraine to show themselves. The small academy of Sciences, institutions of vocational education, additional education invite compatriots to participation in sign actions.

Also, during the conference the Concept of continuous education of children and the studying youth of the Donetsk People's Republic was presented to teachers by the manager of the sector on youth and patriotic work of the Ministry of Education and Science Sergey Kuzmin. He read out aloud expected results of implementation of the Concept among which there is a strengthening of civil identity, stability and unity of society; increase in public prestige of family, preservation and revival of traditional family values, strengthening of traditions of family education; development of the public and state educational system based on coordination and consolidation of efforts of all her institutes and others.

Besides, the issue of formation, preservation and promotion of health of students was considered. The rector of Donetsk institute of physical culture and sport Yury Dubrevsky acquainted teachers with results of a research of physical health of 5-8 forms students which was carried out by research group on the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Science and presented methodical developments on children's health improvement in the system of the general secondary education.
