Diplomas of the Ukrainian universities are not recognized in a number of the countries of the world any more

13.05.17

Now a number of the countries has ceased to recognize diplomas of Ukrainian medical schools. As the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Lilia Grinevich reported: "Some countries have partially or completely stopped recognition of our medical diplomas. They are, in particular, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine and others, where many students traditionally come  to study in our medical schools from".

According to her, the basis for such solutions countries call a low score of entrants coming to medical higher educational institutions and lack of access to internship.

Also she noted that in Ukraine medical education is the most rating in education market for foreign students. Among more than 64 thousand foreigners studying in Ukraine, nearly 40% get education on medical specialties.

However Ukrainian education reform doesn't assume practical solution of this problem. In particular, the first deputy chairman of Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for science and education Alexander Spivakovsky in an interview of RIA Novosti said: "Our school is authoritative. … There is no law, there is no 12-year education. … Basic 5-year secondary education is divided into 2 cycles. The first is adaptation, support of interest in special knowledge and activity. It means that if there is 12-year education, actually there will be 8-year education because for 4 years the child will play, adapt, get used, maintain interest etc.".

Thus, today the first results of the fact, that in Ukraine for 4 years there has been factual imitation of educational process, are already visible. Therefore, extremely low score of entrants isn't surprising, as well as loss of interest of foreigners in diplomas of the state which isn't providing the worthy level even of primary education.
