Educational services are provided to children with limited opportunities of health within the Humanitarian program for reunion of the people of Donbass

For today there have already been first results of activity of the Humanitarian program for reunion of the people of Donbass concerning educational services by the organizations of vocational education.

In particular, now 28 children with limited opportunities of health from territories under control to Ukraine are studying at boarding schools of the Donetsk People's Republic. These are children with hearing pathology (deaf, hearing-impaired), with a cerebral palsy, scoliosis, disturbance of intellectual development.

Ukraine left these children to the mercy of fate, and in the Donetsk People's Republic they found attention, care, they had not had before. Our boarding schools are ready to accept also other children from the territories under control of Ukraine needing special education.

For example, for the purpose of creation of conditions for training of blind and cecutient children in Uglegorsk Public Educational Institution Special Boarding School No.6 classes are open for children with this pathology that didn't use to be before in the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic. Today 23 persons study in this educational institution. So far they are inhabitants of the Republic, but the boarding school is ready to accept everyone from territories under control of Ukraine.

Also in the DPR Public institution of additional education "Republican center of additional education for blind and cecutient children and adults" is operating. Both inhabitants of the Republic and inhabitants from territories under control of Ukraine can visit it.

Within work of the section "Socialization and Integration of Disabled People into Society" of this center visually impaired persons have an opportunity to work out in the swimming pool, attend cultural events, develop themselves in various directions, obtain information and participate in life of society on an equal basis with healthy people.
